We were recently asked about the facility to create a banner in Publisher 2010. Although not one of the default options when you create a new document, there are plenty of banner templates available for Publisher, here are the steps you need to get started.
- Open Microsoft Publisher 2010
- Click File -> New
- Make sure the drop-down box at the top says "Installed and Online Templates" and in the Search box on the right, type in Banner and click the magnifying glass.
- In the search results you can select one of the Office.com Templates,
- Or scroll down the list and you will see many different banner sizes you can choose from
- Simply select the size you want, select any options like colour scheme and font scheme & click Create
